Some of the stands and frames I made while playing with my globes.  Help yourself! :-)
 
Frames for JPEG images.
Gold & pearls

Aqua & pearls Aqua & pearls, swirled
 
Rainbow rays Block of turquoise

You can also "imbed" your image in 
this block of turquoise.
Try "pillow emboss."

 

Bases for transparent GIF images.
Tip: For better results when adjusting color or size of a GIF, change the image mode to JPEG (RGB) first. After it looks like what you want, save it again as a GIF (indexed color mode.)
Aqua & pearls stand

To add to the impression of a transparent globe, try layering one copy of the stand behind the globe and one in front. Change the opacity of the one in front to 66%, or to taste.
